Botulinum toxin injections
The toxin works by reducing the strength of muscle contraction in the selected muscular areas. This leads to a reduction in expression lines while retaining the overall expression of the face. The results appear from 2-3 days after the first session but the injections need to be repeated every 4-6 months depending on the area involved and the individual patient.

Dermatological filling: Hyaluronic acid
This dermatological filler aims to reduce the depth of wrinkles. The injections are completed at the Doctor's Office with or without a local anesthesia. Depending on the type of product used, the effects can last between 6 and 12 months.

Botulinum toxin injections
The toxin reduces wrinkles, but, in selecting particular muscles, it is possible to "enlarge" the eyes without surgery by lifting the flat part of the eyebrow and reducing the frown lines between the eyebrows.

TREATMENTS FOR THE LIPS
Reshaping and filling
This consists of restoring fullness to lips which have thinned with age or to soften a face which may appear severe due to thin lips. For this treatment we can use the patient's own fat (lipostructure), collagen or hyaluronic acid. The anesthesia used can be either local or general. When the patient's fat is used as a filler, the after-effects are longer and require approximately 6 months to stabilise.
